Mike Greener is a photojournalism graduate from The University of Montana School of Journalism. He has been focused on documenting ‘end of life care’ within local Hospice programs for the last 3 years in an attempt to shed light onto the process and attitudes of how the topic of dying is largely ignored by our society. In addition to this topic, his photography has varied from covering the recent Montana gubernatorial race to the action from the photographer’s pits at the Frontier Days Rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming to the remote trout rivers of New Zealand. When not on assignment he can be found waist deep, with a fly rod in hand, in the local trout streams of Missoula.
