Earl Grollman

Dr. Grollman is a writer, lecturer, and rabbi whose books on coping with death and bereavement have helped hundreds of thousands of people.

He has received awards from such organizations as Yeshiva University, The Compassionate Friends, Visiting Nurse Association, Centre for Living and Dying, and the National Hospice Organization. He became the first recipient of the Earl A. Grollman Award in Bereavement, endowed by Children’s Hospice International, and was named a Hero of the Heartland for his work with children and adults after the Oklahoma City bombing. Recently, he received the Death Educator Award from the Association of Death Educators in Counseling for his significant contribution to the field of death and loss.
