Darcie D. Sims
Darcie D. Sims, Ph.D.,CGC, CHT is a bereaved parent and child, a grief management specialist, a certified pastoral bereavement counselor and a licensed psychotherapist and hypnotherapist. She is the author of Why are the Casseroles Always Tuna?, If I Could Just see Hope, Footsteps Through the Valley, Touchstones, Finding Your Way Through Grief and The Other Side of Grief. She co-authored A Place for me: A Healing Journey for Grieving Kids, and she wrote and produced the videos Handling the Holidays and What Color is Dead? How to Talk With Kids About Death. She is featured in the award-winning video series Good Grief by Iowa Public Television. Darcie co-chaired the 1991 and 1996 World Gatherings on Bereavement and was a keynoter at the 2001 Gathering.
Darcie is president and co-founder of Grief Inc., a grief-consulting firm in Louisville, Kentucky.
